Yeni Yaşam – New Life Charity Shop exists to demonstrate God’s unconditional love with the local communities in Haringey, London through a high standard of customer and care services.

Yeni Yaşam – New Life Charity Shop is a charitable incorporated organisation (registered charity no. 1206697) that works alongside the Yeni Yaşam Killisesi, which means “New Life Fellowship” in Turkish, in the borough of Haringey, London. We hope the charity shop would enable us to show God’s unconditional love, with high standards of customer care and services, working together with the local community to combat poverty and financial hardship. The charity shop would provide opportunity to reach the disadvantage groups through exchange of goods and services to help the most vulnerable and needy people.

Yeni Yasam will support our work and services to vulnerable young adults with special focus among Turkish and Kurdish backgrounds and refugees. The charity shop will provide opportunity for local communities to support our work through a volunteer programme and donations to the shop.

Our volunteer service will offer opportunities to underprivileged people, especially young adults, to develop language and social skills in customer care and other services. Through the charity shop, we hope to show our care and respect of people’s individuality, promote peace and harmony within the community by bringing people together, and working to address social concerns and to meet some of the needs in our community. We intend to raise funds for the relief of people in distress and show Christian love and high moral ethics in all our services. In partnership with local and other donors and supporters, we hope to receive donations of high-quality goods to sell in order to maintain the shop and support our relief projects.
